Hello! From the Mrs. America Pageant in
Tuscon AZ!

What an amazing two days! I met Mrs. Montana and Mrs. Georgia at the SLC airport as they were catching connecting flights to Tuscon. At the Tuscon airport we were greeted by four vans who quickly loaded our luggage. My luggage was loaded in the Lexus belonging to the President of marketing at the Loews Ventana Resort and later that evening he joked about how his entire vehicle was loaded to capacity with Mrs. Utah's luggage. (I only had 5 bags)

Many other contestants brought many more! We all laughed!

Here are a few pictures are from the orientation dinner. We had a terrific meal and we each had the opportunity to introduce ourselves and to tell how many years we had been married!
Today we were up and ready to go for a walk to the golf course at 7 a.m. and will be busy with rehearsals until 10:00 p.m. tonight. I love to be busy!

See you soon!

Heather!

I am so tremendously excited for my pageant sister!!!! My first thoughts are that you absolutely have what it takes to be the next Mrs. America! And that no matter what happens, I know that you are and will be a positive influence on your peers throughout this competition. My heart is so happy for you. You are everything that a hard working married mother should be and would represent this nation in the Mrs. America role better than anyone I know!
I am so dang excited for you and hope I can make it out there to support you! We are all thinking of you and wish you the best experience possible!

Love,
Michelle Osmond

Heather,

I have been reading a book by Sheri Dew. I know you like her stuff. She talked of integrity being the foundation to all that we do. It reminded me of you. I am so impressed with you hun. You rock baby.

"Think of integrity as being True. True Blue, Through and Through. True to yourself, meaning who you are as a son or daughter of God, and who you are in the process of becoming. True to others, meaning that you do what you say you will do. And true to God, meaning that you practice what you preach and that you are doing what you covenanted to do here in mortality."
