Hello from Tuscon!
We have been in rehearsals, eating, in a reception with the mayor and visiting an estate home where there were fire dancers and tons of food today. We started at 7 a.m. and we returned to our hotel room at 10:30. It is way past my bed time! Ha Ha!
The girls are amazing we have a Harvard graduate, two NFL cheerleaders, business owners, a CBS News anchor just to name a few. It is amazing to be around so many wonderful and talented women.
Mrs. Idaho is the only LDS contestant besides me. We are "partners in crime". She is 37 and she has 5 children. I could not be more grateful for amazing family and friends who have given me so much support and shown me so much love. THANK YOU!!!
It is because of the sacrifice and love of my sweet husband that I am even here having this wonderful opportunity, I love you Jared!
The "Marie Osmond doll" for the state gift was a big hit! Every day I am grateful to belong to a family that is known across the world for morals and values!
We are now getting ready for the hotel President's dinner. Best wishes!

Hello! From the Mrs. America Pageant in
Tuscon AZ!
What an amazing two days! I met Mrs. Montana and Mrs. Georgia at the SLC airport as they were catching connecting flights to Tuscon. At the Tuscon airport we were greeted by four vans who quickly loaded our luggage. My luggage was loaded in the Lexus belonging to the President of marketing at the Loews Ventana Resort and later that evening he joked about how his entire vehicle was loaded to capacity with Mrs. Utah's luggage. (I only had 5 bags)
Many other contestants brought many more! We all laughed!
Here are a few pictures are from the orientation dinner. We had a terrific meal and we each had the opportunity to introduce ourselves and to tell how many years we had been married!
Today we were up and ready to go for a walk to the golf course at 7 a.m. and will be busy with rehearsals until 10:00 p.m. tonight. I love to be busy!
See you soon!
